ESTABLISHED 2015 ~ The Lifestyle Blog For The Christian Millennial Today

Don’t Let Disappointment Determine Your 2019 #Adulting

Disappointment, if not careful will dislocate you from your future. In 2019 refuse to let disappointment rob you of your future.

You see we have all faced disappointments in 2018. Disappointments in our friends, our family, our jobs, our personal lives and if you are being honest some of these have led to blame, resentment and anger.

But I believe that 2019 is a year of NEW dreams, NEW vision and NEW purpose.

There is something special about this year before we head into 2020. What you make of it will be down to you and your ability to rise above many things & many emotions.

Disappointment manifests itself in sadness, anger and apathy. So if you find yourself having a “I don’t care about anything anymore attitude,” then maybe disappointment has set in. Disappointment is described as sadness or displeasure caused by the non-fulfilment of ones hopes or expectations. We know very well that hope deferred makes the heart sick.

So how can we make the heart STRONG and well again ?

We will need to get up again in 2019. Don’t lay down defeated. Yes life hit you hard but pick yourself up and go again.

We will need to lift our head up to see new possibilities. Refuse to live with your head buried underneath the ground.

We will have to dream again. Refuse to walk into 2019 with zero dreams or expectations. Just rolling into another day, another week and eventually another year.

We will have to realign ourselves with His promises again. READ AGAIN, MEDITATE AGAIN.  Refuse to not believe what has been spoken over you.

2019 is going to be your best year yet. Don’t be Negative Nancy with nothing good to say about yourself, your life or about anyone.

The best successes normally come after the greatest disappointments.

Get ready for the best year of your life.

Be encouraged, Ronia

Absolutely! At times people don’t grab hold of seasons that can be a catalyst for change! Don’t allow 2018 to flood your 2019! Start the year strong!
